Blog followers may be interested in consulting a book published by Ermis Publishing, Athens, 2001, entitled "Epitomo Geographico Lexiko Tis Ellados" that has just about every village (inhabited or not) in Greece listed and described. The authors are Michael Stamatelatos and Fotini Vamva-Stamatelatou. Just look up the names of villages Penny gives us and you can reference the geographic location, population, and illustrious people who are from a given village.
